A mid term rental is anything from 4 weeks to 6 months, and will be for furnished homes.
Our inventory will include anything from 1-bedroom flats upto 4-bedroom houses. These are not holiday homes – they are practical homes for people who expect to stay there for several weeks or upto 6 months.
You will have a fully furnished home, including kitchen. You’ll have towels and bedding. You can expect high speed internet, and all the utilities are covered.
What you don’t get is an amenity kit, toiletries, or snacks in the fridge…and you won’t get a cleaning service, either. This is not an AirBnB.
No we cater to all kinds of people. You could be working in any industry, perhaps an exchange student, or maybe even a family getting their extension built at their own home but need to stay close to their kids’ school.
Will I need to go through credit checks and other referencing?
No: you will only need to provide evidence of your identity (which is a breeze thanks to our advance technology) and you must secure your payments with a credit card.
Your booking is firm and your advance payment covers you for the duration of your stay upto 4 weeks.
Durations of longer than a month will be charged to your card monthly.
You may not terminate your booking early – you will be charged for the duration.
You can extend if there are no conflicting bookings for the property you’re in.
Our online site will show you both photos and provide video tours of the homes on offer. Be certain that you like the one you’re booking – as you will not be able to cancel the booking or leave early.
Yes, we can arrange for you to visit and see the property for a few minutes if you let us have adequate notice, as we have to take permission from the guests staying there.
Locum Lettings solves 2 kinds of problems: we provide accommodation for people (such as staff, project managers, families, and couples) who are staying for longer than is comfortable in a hotel, but not long enough to justify a traditional letting of a home.
The other problem we solve is for landlords who don’t want the hassle and costs, and don’t wish to be bound in tenancies that limit their use of their property. Their ideal letting period is under 6 months.
This is an extended stay – not a tenancy. Once your booking expires, or if your payment is declined, your access to the home will be instantly blocked and you will be trespassing if you remain in the property.
